Unborn Children Drawings
2013

alive sperm, microscope with a camera, PC, projector

Unborn Children’s Drawings generates digital drawings based on data sourced from my sperm cells. The program calculates the average coordinates of the moving cells, which are subsequently visualized as colorful drawings and projected onto the wall. In the exhibition, this installation operated in real-time whilst prints of five previously generated drawings were displayed next to it. Future experiments will investigate how the sperm cells’ drawing patterns might be affected by different diets, alcohol, adrenaline, temperature, etc.
